The International Camper Club, also known as the ICC, is a camping club that welcomes all brands and types of RVs- from motorhomes to tents. Our club’s focus is on family camping and socializing with fellow campers and RVers. Although we are organized into 12 regions throughout the United States and Canada, and additionally have a Members-at-Large status for those from a region without active chapters; our members are mostly from the Midwest, Mid and upper South Atlantic, and Northeast regions on the United States and Ontario region of Canada.
We have one International Rally a year in the month of July that is hosted by one of the active regions on a rotating basis- the 2018 rally was in the eastern New York area, the 2019 was in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and the 2020 rally will be in Frankenmuth, Michigan! Throughout the year there are several regional rallies, and some regions set out to have one camp-out/get-together each month. Joining camp-outs and rallies is always optional, and taking on WagonMaster/Host responsibilities is voluntary.
The ICC was incorporated in 2003 after the dissolving of the International Skamper Camper Club which at one time was a brand-sponsored club. Some of our members have been a part of the club for dozens of years, some just joined this year. At this time the active regions are:
Region I (New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine) – chapter name ‘The Yankee Doodles.’
Region III (West Virginia, Virginia, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee) – chapter name ‘The Holland Hobos.’
Region IV (Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky) – chapter name ‘The Kamps.’
Come for the fun – Stay for the friendships!
